Dr. Elizabeth Tran is a different kind of dentist. Her warm, fun personality and focus on clinical excellence will make you and your family feel more comfortable than you ever thought possible. She takes the time to listen and provide you with the best care. Rather than feeling rushed, you feel that Dr. Tran is there to assist you with your needs and to answer any questions you may have. Dr. Tran puts all her patients at ease with her gentle manner.

As one of the top La Habra dental offices, Smooth Dental and Orthodontics provides dental care for the whole family and Dr. Tran works well with patients of all ages. From children to teens, adults and the elderly alike, all feel comfortable in Dr. Tran’s presence. As a mother, Dr. Tran understands how to deal with children and calm all their fears before any procedure. Dr. Tran is extremely knowledgeable about her profession and will explain to you each procedure that you need to undergo. She has a way of explaining in simple terms how a procedure works to help patients understand what exactly is involved. Always there to address any concerns, Dr. Tran will put all your fears to rest with honest and well researched information.

Our Vision and Purpose

Our wish for you, your children and family is to achieve the goal of never needing dental work in the future. Our purpose comes from the derivation of the word “doctor.” It comes from the Latin word docere, which means “to show, to teach or to teach to know.”

We help achieve this goal of “teaching” with hygiene visits twice a year…a goal that can eliminate gum disease and future dental work for a lifetime. This goal is our sincerest wish for you, your children & family!

Dr. Tran is trained in a number of different dental specializations including traditional dental surgery and laser gum surgery. She has also been trained in the operating of the most up to date equipment which allows her to provide the most accurate treatment to her patients.  

From taking X-rays to wisdom tooth extractions, Dr. Tran is careful and precise. She ensures that in every procedure she carries out that the patient is in as little pain as possible. Dr. Tran’s patients have always experienced excellent results after a procedure and healing has been quick.

Dr. Tran makes sure to maintain her Santa Ana and La Habra dental offices like her own home. Clean and comfortable the Smooth Dental Group offices have to meet Dr. Tran’s high standards of cleanliness. The atmosphere she creates adds to the patients’ comfort and feeling of well-being.

Dr. Elizabeth Tran received her DMD degree from Boston University in 2002. She is the mother of two boys and one girl.
